Commissioned by Aesop, gold paint was brushed on Aesop Pitt Street Mall’s window storefront recalling the fluid motion of a horse’s tail in mid-air, with the floating stroke creating the feeling of fragrance diffusing through air or essential oils dispersing in water. This echos the sensorial experience of stepping into Aesop: first scent, then space, then detail.
